We thought the Swine Flu sounded fun?

Today we booked out Honeymoon and we are SO EXCITED! Ok, Billy is not as excited as I am for the fact that he is shelling out money and he doesn't like to do that AT ALL! So...we are going on a cruise to MEXICO! Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas is our ship! And our Port is in LA! This is where we are going!

This is our ship! They say its the second to largest ship traveling the seas and I'm nto sure how I feel about that...and all the teen rooms and children activities...hopefully that means we wont hear crying the whole time?

We originally thought we were going to be going to Antigua or St. Lucia but average cheesy rooms at the resorts we were looking at were significantly more expensive then the suite with a balcony we chose here so the choice was pretty obvious to us! Plus, I get to dress up 2 nights...as MRS. SPARKS!!!

Updates

It's been a while since I've updated so I thought I would tell you all about what is going on!

1. BILLY IS NOT GOING BACK TO IRAQ IN AUGUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise the Lord, my prayers have been answered! They also moved the second deployment back to March so there is a chance that he could go on that one...we are ecstatic to have a few months of normal married life before that chance could come!
2. The guest list is finished!
3. The invitations are ordered
4. The save the dates are ordered
5. The guest book is being ordered today and I AM ECSTATIC about it!
6. An engagement party is in the works...and I didn't think it would happen so that's exciting!
7. I'm almost caught up with The Knot's to do list that seems never ending and extremely stressful!
8. My sweet Fiancee is on weekend shift which means he works 12's on Fridays, Saturday and Sunday then an 8 on Monday and is off Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. He is currently loving it...though it is only his first week on it. He says it's more laid back and he can create the pace that he chooses and can be productive at.
9. I hate that he is on weekend shift because that means if I go see him on the weekends... hes at work the whole day, and if he comes here during the week I'm at work all day. Hopefully his willingness to do what others don't want to do will pay off...can we say no March deployment???
10. Billy recently gave me Inphantago...its a lovely staph infection...on my nose! My new nickname is Rudy or ewsy...man, I love my family!
11. We are DONE REGISTERING!!! Praise the Lord its over! We registered at: Bed, Bath & Beyond, William Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Belk, Target and he is registering at Lowes. I like choices so now you have plenty!
12. We got the CD of our engagement pictures yesterday...a post of our favorites will be up soon...I promise!
13. My mom bought her dress this weekend, and I LOVE IT! She is gonna be rockin' it out!
14. We picked out the flower girls "princess dresses" and they are PRECIOUS! I can not wait to see them in it! Anna is going back and forth whether or not she wants diamonds or pearls to wear...I scream pearls!
15. The tuxes have been picked out and are in the process of being ordered.
16. We are trying to figure out our new living situation...aka trying to get out of Billy's lease so we don't live 30 minutes away from everything. Though we love Nashville, Ga and the house that he has rented, I mean I REALLY love that house...I want to be closer to town...and my 3 friends I have there!

Engagement Photos!

Billy came home last Tuesday night so we could get a chunk of our wedding stuff done and let me tell you...he is such a trooper! When we first started planning he told me that whatever I wanted was fine with him. He soon realized that his comment probably hurt my feelings and recanted. He then decided and promised to make an effort to have an input on the decisions and have a good attitude about it! After this weekend of engagement pictures, and tons of registering...I think he wishes he would have stayed with his first comment! But I have to brag for a minutes and tell you that he did in my opinion an amazing job with the engagement photos and he PICKED OUT our FINE CHINA! I'm so thankful for him! Dan and Natalie Watson are our Photographers and I have to say that they were the perfect choice for us! Their personalities match our in so many ways and they made our shoot so fun and comfortable! I will use them in the future for sure...so I think you should too! :) Their company is called Watson-Studios...look them up!

Big News...

Billy has been stuck on who to ask to be his best man for months, I mean, even before he purposed he was thinking about it. On Saturday night he made the tough decision that had been weighing so heavily! He asked Matthew Lougameno to be his best man! Here they are "choking their chicken"!

Lugi is so special to Billy and I have grown to love him so much! I will never forget when Lugi looked at me and said, "Becca, you're alright, your genuine"! Coming from Lugi that's a huge deal! Lugi is very protective and Billy and it was a huge deal for me to gain Lugi's trust and to get him on my side! Billy felt the need to prep me for meeting Lugi, like most do for their families. I can't explain how nervous I was to meet him! I couldn't shut up I as so nervous! But thankfully he saw past my chattiness! Lugi, I am so excited for you to be in such a special position in our wedding, I love you!

Registering

So Billy and I are going to register next weekend and I have printed out a worksheet that tells me what and how much of I shoudl register for...but I want to know...What do you wish you had registered for? Let me know!
