MTIS

Otherwise known at Military Training Instructor School.  That's what we've been up to since we've been in Texas.  It has ruled our life!

(Taps are a tradition for MTI's.  They put them on the side and bottom of their dress shoes and on the side of their boots.  they click them when they are marching or doing motions.  It's a teaching tool but mostly a scare tactic!)

"About Face" is a drill movement where they turn 180 degree.  (you see it in movies all the time)

Yesterday Billy graduated from MTIS!  I'll blog on that tomorrow!  Today he was presented with his "smokey bear" hat...such a cool experience...I'll blog on that later!
